Catfish and the Bottlemen Makes Invigorating Return to Music

Catfish and the Bottlemen

By: Carissa Mathena

The long-awaited, new Catfish and the Bottlemen single has finally arrived after years of anticipation. The track, entitled “Longshot,” gives fans exactly what they were searching for. It has the same Catfish energy with the addicting bass line, the invigoration guitar, the kick of the drums, and of course the distinct voice of lead singer Van McCann. Whether or not you love them, it is hard not to love this one.

Their second album was incredibly different from their first, making some fans skeptical about what the third album would bring. This song shows us that this song will bring the same intensity in shows that they have delivered since The Balcony.

That will never change about Catfish, they can leave you feeling exhausted but the happiest you’ve ever been after you see them on stage. This song leads to a third album, The Balance, that will exceed expectations. This one is set to drop on April 26th.
